Finance OS for CA firms

One practice board across every client's workspace, with clients kept fully separate.

Updated 7 October 2026

CA firms and outsourced accountants spend much of the month chasing clients for documents and checking work across files. Finance OS gives each client its own workspace and gives the firm a practice board across all of them.

Practice board

  • Clients link their workspace to the firm; the firm sees what it does for each client, who prepares and who reviews.
  • Document requests go to the client, who answers in their own workspace.
  • Each client is a separate organisation with its own team; clients never see each other.
  • Clients have a "My accountant" view in their own workspace.

Onboarding clients

Bring a client over from Tally (XML), Zoho Books or other software through the migration center. Every line is checked before posting and the opening position is proven with a reconciliation the client signs off. A parallel run keeps the old books until the numbers agree.

The work itself

Bank coding, GST and TDS working, reconciliations, month-end close and MIS are the same tools the client's own finance team uses, so there is one set of books rather than a copy at the firm.

Common questions

Can my staff see all clients?

Firm staff see the clients linked to the firm's practice board, according to their role. Clients only see their own organisation.

Can clients upload documents directly?

Yes. Document requests are answered by the client in their own workspace and the documents sit in the vault next to the related entries.
